Wednesdays - 3:00-4:30pm January 11 - March 7 Grades 2nd - 5th In this 8 week workshop, students will create their own cartoon character, give him or her a personality, paint a portrait of the character, and draw 3-4 comic strips or "cartoons" of their characters. Students will work in pencil, color pencil, ink and marker, as well as some writing for their dialogue, content & character development.

In the first 2 weeks, we will discuss equipment, screenwriting and have some auditions. For the next 6 weeks, we will then create our short film. After filming and the class is completed, the instructor will edit the film and every student will get a DVD copy.
