Walk-A-Thon Grants! 

The CVES PTSA is happy to announce that due to our successful Walk-a-Thon, we have awarded each classroom a grant of $500.  You may decide if you'd like to pool your funds as a grade, or just use the grant for your own classroom.  This money is also to be used for field trips as needed.  Please remember that any materials or equipment purchased with CVES PTSA funds becomes property of CVES, and funds must be used by June 1st, 2012. 

The PTSA will be handling the grant process and have set up a system which we hope you will find easy to use.

In the office on Terry's desk, there is a filing system that includes a file for each grade and specialist.  When you have an expense you need to be reimbursed for or have a purchase order or invoice you'd like us to pay, please fill out a WAT Grant Reimbursement Form, attach the appropriate paperwork, and place in your file.  The files will be checked daily and reimbursements/payments will be delivered to your mailboxes.  There is a supply of Reimbursement Forms in the file folder.  You can also download the files onto your computer by using the links at the bottom of this page.

Fall Grants

The PTSA will also be awarding additional grant money in November, and, depending on funding, may offer an additional grant in Spring.  Teachers, staff, and even students can submit grant applications.  Instructions and the grant forms are in the file folders.  You can also download these files by using the links found below.  Fall Grant applications are due Friday, November 4th.  The Board will review them at the November 10th Board Meeting and then present them to the general membership on November 17th for final approval.
