Make a difference in your child’s school and our community by being a part of PTSA! There are so many ways to get involved: Sign up for an event, volunteer at your child’s art day, or join our PTSA board.

Basic PTSA Membership is just the beginning, and does not require ANY work or support on your behalf other than signing up, but don’t let the connection end there…..

We have so many opportunities within our board and PTSA group with a range of time commitments and responsibilities. We offer so many ways to play a part: board membership with voting capability, event chairs, website management, and parent liaisons. There is literally something for everyone and everyone’s availability.

We are so happy to announce that we have a 100% returning board member rate for this year! We have created several new positions with shared responsibility to make it easier to be a part of the board. Due to board position time limits (two years), we will have the following positions open for the 2026/27 school year:

  • Secretary

  • Cub Store Team

  • VP of Grants

  • 5th Grade Fundraising Committee: Camp Seymour & Beach Bash

  • Social Communications Team

  • Kinder Liaison

  • 5th Grade Liaison

  • Grants Committee

  • Website Management

  • Display case decor committee

  • Night of the Arts raffle item procurement

  • Events Chairs and Co-chairs:

    • Spelling Bee

    • Science Fair

    • Glow Party

    • Reflections

    • Night of the Arts

    • Bingo

    • Movie Night

Our PTSA sponsored events and activities include: Ice Cream Social, Walkathon, General Meetings, Feast Days, Fall Bookfair, Bingo Night, Reflections, Donuts with Grownups, Night of the Arts, Spelling Bee, Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, Science Fair, STEAM night, Spring Book Fair, Glow Party, 5th Grade Beach Bash, Yearbook and our Cub Store.

We do all this as well as fully funding our art program at CVES, providing staff appreciation events, providing school tee shirts for each student at CVES, supporting Camp Seymour with our fundraising efforts and providing grants for supplies, assemblies, field trips and in-school experiences.
